Generator Maintenance Services - Preventative Maintenance is Simply Good Peace of Mind

Preventative service: A “Preventative Maintenance Agreement” or PMA is customized to the generator sold. The cost starts low for a 7 – 10 KW unit and goes up from there as the size increases. We offer a three year “Agreement,” not a contract, which is paid up front and billed automatically on the signing anniversary date each year.

  • Ocean Electric Corp. offers a Generator Preventative Maintenance Service Agreement Package for approved Generator Systems.

  • Generator services will be rendered through Ocean Electric Corp. by “Trained Generator Technicians”.

  • Servicing your generator system will ensure the peak performance for the life of the equipment and provide reliability for the duration of this agreement.

  • The Preventative Maintenance Service Agreement replaces normal wear materials and their labor not covered by warranty.

  • Preventative maintenance is accomplished twice yearly over the course of a 3 year agreement; at a one time a year affordable cost.

  • Semi-annual preventative maintenance with a 3 year coverage period:

    • Starts from date of 1st Service – ends 3-Fiscal Years later

    • Invoiced each year on anniversary of signing agreement

Some examples of what may be part of your Gas or Diesel Generator Maintenance Agreement Package:

  • Off-line exercise of equipment

  • Visual and electrical testing

  • Load and automatic starter tests

  • Verification of generator output loads

  • Performance checks

  • Materials and labor as needed or specified:

    • oil & oil filter

    • air filter

    • fuel filter

    • spark plugs

    • tune-ups

    • battery

    • coolant

    • fan belt

  • Checks to detect for leaks:

    • exhaust

    • fuel

    • coolant

    • gas

    • oil

  • Cleaned and re-coated with anti-corrosive coating:

    • electrical terminal ends

    • battery posts

    • grounding points

  • Winter fuel treatment

  • Thorough cleaning of the entire unit during our visits to maintain your generator.

Exclusions may include:

  • Gas repairs and connections; discovered damage will be documented, reported and made safe to the best of our ability.

Ocean Electric Corp. will also take the worry out of your maintenance requirements through utilization of our automatic scheduling which will assure your generators preventative maintenance is accomplished twice yearly at a once a year affordable price. We will record your maintenance requirements; create a file log to ensure maintenance reliability and serviceability of your generator for many years to come.
