This is a new, unused Shinwa Rules Stud Sensor Home (Part Number: 79151).
This item is a tool for detecting wood (studs) and metal behind walls, helping you find secure spots for attaching shelves, handrails, and more.

Basic Usage:
Place the unit firmly against the wall and operate.
Start: Place the unit on a spot where you believe there is no stud, and press and hold the Start Button on the side.
Scan: While holding the button down, slowly slide horizontally across the wall without lifting it.
Detect: When you reach the edge of a stud, a red light will illuminate and a buzzer will sound. Mark this position.
From the Other Side: Repeat the process from the opposite direction to mark the other edge. The space between these two marks indicates the width of the stud.

Features and Precautions:
Detection Depth: Can detect within a wall thickness of approximately 19mm.
Compatible Wall Materials: Compatible with plywood, plasterboard, and reinforced plasterboard. Cannot be used on exterior walls or in bathrooms.
Material Discrimination: Cannot distinguish between wood and metal; it will react to both.
Power Source: Uses one 9V alkaline battery. The included test battery may require early replacement.
